Peshawar – An important meeting of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Routine Immunization (RI) project staff was convened at the Provincial Headquarters (PHQ) in Peshawar. The session brought together representatives from the Provincial Headquarters and the district of Bannu to review the progress of the Routine Immunization project and address key challenges faced during its implementation.

  • Basic Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI)

  • Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE)

Designed for health and field staff, the sessions focused on enhancing participants’ skills in:

  • Identifying social, cultural, and behavioural barriers to immunization

  • Effective interpersonal communication and community mobilization

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Branch actively participated in a Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar held at the Governor House, Peshawar, as part of ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and community engagement across the province.

The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, and Chairman PRCS Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Farzand Ali Wazir, alongside PRCS officials, staff, and volunteers.
